Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi calls on Grand Mufti Qabbani to clear his name of any allegations.

The head of the National Dialogue Party, Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi, joined ranks with Mr. El-Hoss concerning the need for Grand Mufti Qabbani to clear allegations directed at his person and subsequently the Dar Al Fatwa.

According to Mr. Makhzoumi, the advice given by Mr. El-Hoss regarding the said allegations that affect the integrity and impartiality of the Grand Mufti, confirm once again that Sunni-Sunni communication is urgent. Mr. Makhzoumi also commented on Mr. El-Hoss’ statement that there is a real danger of civil strife within the ranks of the Sunni community.
